The Stacks Desk was inspired by a Pile of Lumber.  The profile of the Desk is made of various lengths and widths of lumber which were meticulously manipulated to give the visual effect of being soild pieces running the entire length of the piece.

Made of White Oak finished 2 ways,  White Oak with a clear finish and incorporating a ancient Japanese technique know as Shou-sugi ban.  This Technique involves burning the wood to a desired consistency and colour.
